These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Shadow Play Labs website and services (the “Services”). By accessing the site, booking a consultation, purchasing digital content, or attending an event, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & adults-only
The Services are intended solely for adults 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). By using the Services you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Shadow Play Labs provides education and coaching for consenting adults and does not host sexually explicit content.
2. Nature of the services
Shadow Play Labs offers educational workshops, coaching, community events, and digital resources grounded in a neuroscience-informed, trauma-aware approach to intentional kink and BDSM practice. Coaching and educational services are not medical care, psychotherapy, or a substitute for licensed mental-health or medical treatment. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, or legal advice.
3. Consent, conduct & safety
Participation in any coaching engagement or event is contingent on completing intake where required and agreeing to the Shadow Play Labs Code of Conduct and Safety Agreements. You are responsible for your own decisions and for practicing risk-aware, consensual conduct at all times.
4. Bookings & payment
Fees are described at the point of booking or purchase and are framed as an investment in the work. Consultations must be booked and paid in advance where indicated. Refund terms are set out in the Refund Policy.
5. Digital content & license
Digital deliverables (guides, worksheets, videos, courses) are licensed, not sold. Upon purchase you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share purchased content without written permission.
6. Intellectual property
All site content, branding, curriculum, and materials are the property of Shadow Play Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
7. Confidentiality
Shadow Play Labs treats client information with strict confidentiality as described in the Privacy Policy. You likewise agree to respect the confidentiality and privacy of other participants in any group setting.
8. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability
You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shadow Play Labs disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
